Nomorobo Max uses this function to silence unknown callers. When an unknown call (meaning anyone not in your contacts) comes in you will briefly see a notification "Call Silenced". Nomorobo Max is then able to screen and analyze the unknown calls and determine which are spam, and which are worth your time.
