To enable SMS Spam Reporting:
- In the Settings app, navigate to:

- Enable Nomorobo Max
After enabling SMS Filter, any spam text identified by Nomorobo Max will be sorted into the Junk filter in the Messages app. You will not receive notifications for messages categorized as Junk, but you can access the folder by going to the Messages App > Filters > Junk.
Once you have followed the above instructions, you can Test the SMS Filter:
- In the Nomorobo Max app, navigate to:
- Settings > Test SMS Filter
- Tap Send Test SMS
- We will send you a test SMS. You will not receive a notification about the message, but the app will verify if the SMS was filtered correctly
- Go to your Messages app, tap Filters in the upper left corner
- The test message will appear in the Junk folder
In the event that a legitimate text is mistakenly identified as Junk, the quickest way to ensure any future text from this number are allowed through, is to add the number as a contact. To do this tap the Number > Info > Create New Contact. Any number that's in your contacts will never be blocked by the SMS Filter. Adding it as a contact will also move the text from Junk to All Messages/Known Senders.
If a spam text is not filtered into Junk, please report the number to Nomorobo Max by opening the text message, and tapping Report Message. Then tap Done. You may also consider blocking the caller directly on your iPhone. If you don't see the report message option, please ensure SMS Spam Reporting is enabled.
